Our Story

 Introduction

King Jesus Christ Way Ministry International Church, with its main/head office in Sefwi Bekwai and other branches across the country, has been a pillar of faith and outreach since its inception. This document provides a comprehensive history of King Jesus Christ Way Ministry Internation Church, detailing its growth from a single congregation to a multi-branch church serving diverse communities.

Founding of the Church

King Jesus Christ Way Ministry International Church was founded in 2001 by Apostle Godfred Eddie Koranteng and His wife together with some leaders of the Jordan prayer center. The original congregation, consisting of 10 members, met in a rented school auditorium at Awaso in the western north religion the 1^st of April 2001. Their vision was to create a church that focused on biblical teaching, community service, and global missions.

Early Years

The early years of King Jesus Christ Way Ministry International Church were characterized by rapid growth and a strong sense of community. The leaders moved the church from the rented school auditorium to a different place later moved to an area in Awaso called San Foundation. The growth of the church became very rapid within the first six month and leaders established another branch at the Jordan prayer center, in Sefwi Bekwai which is now the Head branch of the church since most of the members came from Sefwi Bekwai. The Bekwai branch was later divided into two, one at the Jordan prayer center and the other one at Corsah preparatory school. In the Space of one year, the church had already established two branches in addition to the main one making it three branches, but later the last one which was established in the Corsah preparatory died of leaving the other two branches.

Development and Expansion

As the main Branch in Sefwi Bekwai grew, so did the vision for expansion. In the early 2006, the church launched its first branch in the nearby city of Bibiani through and crusade. This marked the beginning of a new phase of growth. Over the next two decades, King Jesus Christ Way Ministry International Church established additional branches in Dwenasi, that was in the year 2008, and also established another branch in Accra Ashiaman in the year 2010 and later established another branchs in Asawinso, Wiawso Kessekrom, Goaso and Kumasi in the subsequent years. Each branch operated under the same mission and values, adapting to the unique needs of their local communities. Unfortunately, the church in Goaso was closed down and also the church in Wiawso Kessekrom was also made to join that of the Dwenasi Church. Currently the Church having seven Branchs in Ghana that is in Sefwi Bekwai, Bibiani, Dwenasi, Accra Ashiaman, Asawinso, Awaso and Kumasi.

Programs and Ministries

Throughout its expansion, King Jesus Christ Way Ministry International Church developed a wide range of programs and ministries to serve its members and the broader community. These included:

Youth Ministries, Children’s Ministries, Men’s and Women’s Ministries and also the Music Ministries Offering programs to help build the growth of the church.

 Recent History

In recent years, King Jesus Christ Way Ministry International Church has continued to innovate and grow. Under the leadership of Apostle Godfred Eddie Koranteng, the church has established a Bible school(Eaglefly Bible Institute) and has embraced digital technology, offering YouTube page and a website to help build the church globally.
